“Shift Happens!”

Presented by: Christopher Ridenhour, GFN

National Workplace Culture and Organization Dynamics Trainer/Speaker, Accountability Coach, Expert Team Energizer, Bonafide Staff Whisperer, Czar of Leadership Retreats, Shenanigan Enthusiast, Mom’s Favorite!

SHIFT HAPPENS! is an interactive and immersive experience designed for Human Resources professionals who are expected to facilitate successful change-management processes for all personnel and across the entire organization. The structure integrates the most effective experiential elements that make scavenger hunts, escape rooms, and team trivia such dynamic and immersive events. As the practitioners network, collaborate, and share laughs, they learn and model evidence-based emotional intelligence skills that bridge the gap between the stated organizational ideals and everyday workplace actions.

2026 SHIFT HAPPENS GAMEPLAY STRUCTURE

The experience kicks off with a high-energy welcome that sets the tone and introduces the unique and dynamic collaborative process. Each participant receives a gameboard where they’ll find provocative questions and prompts, puzzles, riddles, and group challenges that frame the day. Designed for energy and flexibility, the adaptable gameplay can easily scale from an intimate group of 25 to large crowds of 500, and can be delivered in formats lasting from 60 minutes to 3hours.

The expansive range of topics, tools, games, and activities create hundreds of moments of contact and collaboration across professional roles, levels, and generations. The strategic interactivity also accommodates all learning styles and personality temperaments. The tone of celebration and humor fosters authentic connection without the awkwardness that sometimes defines traditional mixers.

THE GRANDEST FINALE

Team prizes and individual recognition make the structured debrief fun and competitive in a way that drives home the actionable insights and ensures an effective transfer of learning. Every HR professional leaves this unique experience more competent and confident in their ability to institutionalize the new tools and practices on their next office day..

For the last two decades, Christopher served as Chief Learning Officer to two large multi-site Health Care corporations. His responsibilities included “actionizing” the Mission, Vision, and Values into daily commitments from personnel across all levels of the organization. He also directed system-wide Onboarding, DEI, Leadership Development, and Engagement strategies, resulting in above-industry increases in retention.

Over the same time, Christopher’s passion and enthusiasm led to innumerable opportunities to travel nationally as a perennial Conference Keynote and Performance Improvement Consultant. Audiences spanning The Pioneer Network, LeadingAge(all state affiliates), Argentum, AHCA/NCAL, NADONA, ANFP, AHE, among many others, have profoundly benefitted from the tools, techniques, and belly laughs that are hallmarks of his high energy trainings.

As recognition for the years of service to hundreds of communities across the country, LeadingAge awarded Christopher “Facilitator of the Year.” Christopher asks us to imagine the inevitable positive outcomes for our clients when EVERY colleague, across all levels, and walks-of-life, feels cherished and fired up to serve!
