“Polished, Professional Speaking Skills to Elevate Your Career“
Tri-State HRMA members get a front row seat at monthly meetings and at annual conferences to experience the power of professional speakers – they move us, inspire us, and teach us. Have you ever aspired to elevate your presentations skills or perhaps develop your own speaking business?
You now have your chance to learn from the insiders! Tri-State will partner again for the June meeting with the National Speakers Association, Philadelphia Chapter, to deliver a memorable, interactive evening in which attendees can participate in focused breakouts with leaders from NSA Philly to learn how to upskill their speaking and presentation skills in a number of different ways.
Speaking confidently, powerfully, and persuasively is a skill that elevates any career – whether or not you have ambitions to leap into the world of professional speaking!
Facilitated by Dr. James Smith, Jr., there will be 4 breakout groups on various aspects of presentation skills and speeches with top tips and techniques. Members will be able to spend 20 minutes per topic with an NSA host, and then rotate through as a group to the next breakout session. This event will be highly interactive — members can volunteer to do short brief presentations and get real-time professional feedback from our NSA experts.
Among the topics for the breakouts:
- Presentations are Storytelling – they’re Personal and Passionate, with Scott Prendergast
- Using Physical Performance to Engage Your Audience, with Steve Bollar
- How to Build a Professional Speaking Business, with Sarah Ohanesian
- Fear of Speaking? Conquer it and Share with Confidence, with Dave Spadaro
