Tri-State HRMA Conference 2010

 Welcome

Hello -

The Tri-State Conference Committee is busy making plans for our 24th Annual Conference, 24 karat: Setting the Gold Standard, to be held again at the Mansion in Voorhees, NJ on Thursday, May 6, 2010. On behalf of the 24th Annual Conference Committee and Tri-State Human Resource Management Association, Chapter 413 of the Society of Human Resource Management, we'd like to invite you to join us for a day of professional development and fellowship.

NEW this year, we will have TWO Keynote Speakers:

Greg Link, Co-Founder and Leader of the Global Speed of Trust Practice along with Stephen Covey. A recognized authority on leadership, trust, and high performance, Link is a sought after advisor and speaker, who gracefully and aggressively challenges the age-old assumption that trust is merely a soft, social virtue and convincingly demonstrates that trust is, in fact, a strong economic driver - a learnable and measurable skill that makes organizations more profitable, people more promotable, and relationships more energizing. Click here for more about Greg Link.

Scott Christopher, Humorist and corporate culture expert, debunks the myth that levity is somehow a frivolous non-issue and detrimental to an organization's success. In a lively and hilarious presentation, Christopher establishes the case for levity leadership, and why it pays to LIGHTEN UP.  Click here for more about Scott.

As an EXTRA benefit for your attendance at this year's conference, we are delighted to include a FREE copy of Stephen Covey's best selling book, The Speed of Trust, included with your paid conference registration (while supplies last)!

 Chance Auction Event

On behalf of Tri-State HRMA, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation to those of you who have supported our organization and our designated charities through the years.  This year, for the first time, as part of the Conference’s activities, we are planning a "Chance Auction."  In keeping with our 24-karat theme, the Chance Auction will play a very important part in positively influencing our local community.  Proceeds from the auction will directly benefit The Work Group, a private, non-profit corporation which operates the New Jersey Youth Corps of Camden County, located in Pennsauken, NJ.

WHAT CAN YOU GIVE?  Throughout the conference day, attendees will be able to purchase raffle tickets which will be drawn at the end of the conference for themed baskets full of prizes.  We are currently seeking donations to fill these baskets and we invite your participation.  Items donated may include merchandise, gift certificates, tickets to special events, etc. and may vary in value and creativity.    Our goal is to inspire people to set the 24-karat standard by helping us raise enough money for this worthy cause to have a meaningful influence on our community.  With your support, proceeds from the auction will provide assistance for some great kids who really need our help.

Won’t you join us?  To make a donation, please contact Barbara Hall at (856) 241-9090 x63121 or behall@albertsorganics.com, Sue Learn at (856) 661-5550 or slearn@discmakers.com or Michele Munyon at mmunyon18@verizon.net.

Thank you for your generosity.

Sincerely,

Tri-State HRMA Conference Committee

 Exhibitor Testimonials

"I had the opportunity to exhibit at the 2009 Tri-State conference and could not have been more pleased with the outcome.  I was able to meet and get to know numerous HR professionals and was also able to spend some time with the other exhibitors. As a result, I have had the pleasure of establishing some new working relationships with those in attendance that I may never have had the opportunity to meet otherwise. It was a great experience and I look forward to the 2010 event."

   Spencer Broad – Colonial Life

"Innovative Benefit Planning found the Tri-State annual conference tremendous, it was great to see old friends and make new ones.   Attendance was high but more importantly visitors were very engaged and receptive to learning how the exhibitors could help their organizations achieve their goals.   We look forward to exhibiting next year."

Jerry Hampton – Innovative Benefit Planning

"Alstin Communications is extremely proud to be a Preferred Vendor of the Tri-State Human Resource Management Association. We've been a Tri-State Preferred Vendor for many years and Alstin's continued Preferred Vendor status reflects our ongoing commitment to the mission, duties and exceptional work consistently done by Tri-State for the HR community. In return for our support as a Preferred Vendor, we receive many benefits, including special recognition in Tri-State membership directories, preferred positioning at conferences, unique opportunities to discuss our services at meetings, and much more. Being a Preferred Vendor has been part of a wonderful, mutually beneficial partnership with Tri-State HRMA, and I strongly encourage anyone looking to take a more active role in Tri-State to learn more about becoming a Preferred Vendor."
